I pretty much felt like this Thursday, when I drew this guy. Didn’t sleep all Wednesday->Thursday night.
They’re running a keyboard dynamics experiment in the Thursday class, and so once per class we go to the room next door to type ‘hester’ 50 times. After the sessions, the experimenter always asks how you feel — if there’s anything that might be affecting your typing. I say, “well, I didn’t get much sleep last night,” of course, but I don’t think she believed me. Because, unless I was delusional, that was the fastest typing session I’ve ever done. Near perfect, no pauses. Constant, methodical, yet fast.
The trick is to have absolutely nothing else on your mind.
