So Scott Adams’s blog had a link to this article, titled “Incompetent People Really Have No Clue, Studies Find.” He was talking about it in the context of Democracy and how people believe themselves to have the answers to complex policy issues which they probably do not even fully understand. Which is, of course, true, but mostly the article on incompetence reminded me that I should learn more about how to paint. And maybe how to draw.
Incidentally, I believe that living in a perpetual state of embarrassing oneself is a virtue. If you’re not embarrassing yourself, how will you learn anything?
